Are you interested in politics and current events?

Do you want to help elect someone close to home or work on a presidential campaign?

Are you eager to learn helpful tips that can help you avoid common political mistakes?

If so, you’ll want to participate in Grassroots Connect training. Led by two nationally recognized grassroots organizers, Al Gore’s 2000 campaign manager, Donna Brazile, and by Gore’s 2000 National Field Director and Silicon Valley veteran Donnie Fowler, Grassroots Connect will help you become a better organizer and a better leader. Participants will learn the secrets of a successful political campaign - whether it’s your own race or working for a cause you care about. Plus, as the 2004 presidential campaign heats up, we’ll give the inside scoop on working with a presidential campaign from the grassroots up.

The Grassroots Connect training sessions cover topics such as campaign organization, message development, media and communications tactics, internet and new technologies, mobilization and field work. We will also teach the latest Get Out the Vote (GOTV) strategies as well as coalition building. We will lead the training, but will also invite experts from around the country to add their wisdom.

We need to get our troops trained now to create change in November. Time is precious — let’s start today.
